Wire Inoculating Loop Microbiology Laboratory Transfer Loop

The Wire Inoculating Loop is a microbiology laboratory tool designed for picking up, transferring and inoculating small quantities of microbial cultures onto or into suitable culture media. A typical reusable inoculating loop consists of a fine metal wire formed into a small loop at the tip and attached to a handle or loop holder. Depending on the product, the wire may be manufactured from nichrome, platinum or another suitable material.
