The UV222 Linear – L-UV222 by UV Medico is a professional 222 nm filtered Far-UVC decontamination and visible-light system developed particularly for operating theatres and other healthcare environments requiring continuous microbial control. Unlike a conventional UV fixture, the UV222 Linear combines a filtered Krypton Chloride (Kr-Cl) 222 nm Far-UVC excimer source with white and RGB visible lighting. It can be installed as a stand-alone linear fixture or integrated into Laminar Air Flow (LAF) environments. UV Medico says the system is designed to support continuous, chemical-free air and surface decontamination during occupied operation. The visible-light system provides 90 CRI and 4,000 K illumination and is designed to be flicker-free, supporting accurate colour rendering and visual comfort for surgeons and clinical staff.
