UV222 Downlight

The UV222 Downlight by UV Medico is a recessed, ceiling-integrated 222 nm filtered Far-UVC air and surface decontamination fixture designed for discreet installation in suspended or secondary ceilings. It uses a Krypton Chloride (Kr-Cl) excimer lamp with an optical band-pass filter and a peak emission wavelength of 222 nm. UV Medico positions the Downlight for continuous environmental decontamination in occupied spaces such as healthcare facilities, offices, classrooms and corridors, provided installation and exposure remain within applicable limits. The fixture requires only a circular ceiling opening of approximately 150–155 mm, allowing most of the equipment to remain concealed above the ceiling while the circular faceplate is visible below.
