Sysmex CA-104 Semi-Automated Coagulation Analyzer

The Sysmex CA-104 Semi-Automated Coagulation Analyzer is a compact laboratory system designed to simplify and standardize routine blood coagulation testing in hospitals, diagnostic centres and clinical laboratories. The CA-104 features four optical measurement channels and uses Sysmex's turbodensitometric photo-optical measuring principle to objectively detect clot formation. Four LEDs operating at 870 nm are used for clotting assays. The analyzer supports PT (Prothrombin Time), APTT (Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time), TT (Thrombin Time), fibrinogen and coagulation factor assays. Depending on the assay, throughput can reach approximately 60 PT tests per hour or 30 APTT tests per hour. Its semi-automated workflow combines manual pipetting with automatic measurement start, built-in timing, temperature-controlled incubation and automatic result calculation. A built-in thermal printer provides immediate result output.
