Sofra-Tulle B.P. Framycetin 1% Antibiotic Gauze Dressing

Sofra-Tulle B.P. is a sterile medicated gauze wound dressing impregnated with Framycetin Sulphate B.P. 1%, an aminoglycoside antibacterial agent. The dressing combines a low-adherence paraffin gauze structure with local antibacterial activity and is intended for wounds where an antibacterial dressing is clinically indicated. The dressing consists of lightweight gauze impregnated with white soft paraffin, anhydrous lanolin and 1% framycetin sulphate. Its open-weave structure permits wound exudate to pass through into an appropriate secondary absorbent dressing while helping reduce adherence to the wound surface.
