The Sinocare iCan i6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System is a compact wearable glucose-monitoring system designed to provide real-time glucose readings continuously for up to 15 days. Rather than relying on repeated routine finger-prick measurements, the sensor measures glucose in the interstitial fluid beneath the skin and transmits glucose information to the compatible iCan App or dedicated iCan View reader. The iCan i6 automatically provides an updated glucose reading every 3 minutes, allowing users to view current glucose levels, trends and changes throughout the day and night. The app can also provide alerts when glucose is, or is predicted to move into, an unsafe range. The sensor is approximately 23.3 mm × 3.95 mm and weighs around 2 g, making it discreet for everyday wear. It is factory calibrated and does not require routine user calibration.
