The Seamaty SG1 Blood Gas and Electrolyte Analyzer is a compact, portable diagnostic device designed for rapid point-of-care measurement of blood gases, electrolytes and critical-care biochemical parameters using small volumes of whole blood. It features a 4.3-inch colour touchscreen, integrated thermal printer, rechargeable lithium battery and disposable multi-parameter test cartridges. The analyzer delivers results in approximately four minutes using just 100 µL of arterial or venous whole blood. Depending on the selected cartridge, the SG1 measures blood pH, oxygen partial pressure, carbon dioxide partial pressure, sodium, potassium, chloride, ionized calcium, hematocrit, glucose and lactate. Its lightweight handheld design makes it suitable for hospitals, intensive care units, emergency departments, operating theatres, clinical laboratories and bedside diagnostic testing.
