Roche cobas e 411 Disk Automated Immunoassay Analyzer

The Roche cobas e 411 Disk is a fully automated immunoassay analyzer that uses Roche's electrochemiluminescence (ECL) technology for quantitative and qualitative determination of a broad range of immunochemistry parameters. Designed for clinical laboratories requiring reliable automated immunoassay testing at low-to-medium workloads, the cobas e 411 combines automated sample processing, reagent management, incubation, measurement, calibration and quality-control functions in a single system. The Disk configuration provides 30 sample positions and 18 reagent positions, while delivering throughput of up to 86 tests per hour. This configuration should be clearly distinguished from the cobas e 411 Rack System, which uses a different sample-handling arrangement. The analyzer uses Roche's Elecsys reagent technology, giving laboratories access to a broad immunoassay menu covering thyroid function, fertility, cardiac markers, tumour markers, infectious diseases, bone metabolism, anemia, hormones and other specialized diagnostic applications.
