Roche cobas b 123 POC Blood Gas Analyzer

The Roche cobas b 123 POC System is a compact fully automated blood gas and critical-care analyzer designed for rapid point-of-care testing in intensive care units, emergency departments, operating theatres, neonatal intensive care units, dialysis units and clinical laboratories. The system can measure pH, pO₂, pCO₂, Na⁺, K⁺, Cl⁻, Ca²⁺, hematocrit, glucose and lactate. Configurations equipped with the oximeter module can additionally measure total hemoglobin, O₂Hb, HHb, COHb, MetHb, oxygen saturation and neonatal bilirubin. With a throughput of up to 30 samples per hour and sample requirements ranging from only 25 to 123 µL, the cobas b 123 is designed to provide broad critical-care testing while conserving patient sample volume. Its compact design incorporates a touchscreen and printer, while different sensor cartridge, Fluid Pack and optional-module configurations allow the system to be adapted to specific clinical requirements.
