Roche cobas b 101 Point-of-Care Analyzer

The Roche cobas b 101 is a compact point-of-care analyzer that combines HbA1c, lipid profile and C-reactive protein (CRP) testing on one easy-to-use platform. Designed for clinics, physician offices, diabetes centres and other point-of-care settings, the analyzer provides rapid quantitative results from very small sample volumes. It uses dedicated, color-coded cobas b 101 test discs, with the blood sample applied directly to the disc without requiring conventional reagent preparation. The system requires only 2 µL for HbA1c, 19 µL for the lipid panel and 12 µL for CRP. HbA1c and lipid results are available in approximately 6 minutes or less, while CRP results are available in less than 4 minutes.
