PYREX® 2962-1L 1L Hydrometer Cylinder

The PYREX® 2962-1L 1L Hydrometer Cylinder is a heavy-wall borosilicate glass cylinder designed for hydrometer testing, specific gravity measurement, density testing and related laboratory procedures. Corning uses a large hexagonal base sealed to the cylinder body to improve stability during testing, while the heavy-wall construction helps minimize breakage. The cylinder has a 1000 mL capacity, a beaded rim, and is supplied without a stopper. This model has an approximate height of 465 mm and an approximate outside diameter of 64 mm. It is designed as a reusable hydrometer cylinder and meets ASTM D-287 and ASTM E-100 specifications.
