PYREX® 2.4L Small Top Vacuum Desiccator with 24-29 Standard Taper Stopcock

The PYREX® 2.4L Small Top Desiccator with 24/29 Standard Taper Stopcock, Product No. 3121-150, is a reusable borosilicate glass vacuum desiccator designed for drying and storing moisture-sensitive laboratory materials under reduced pressure. It incorporates a rugged 24/29 Standard Taper stopcock with hose connection that serves as the vacuum inlet. Corning states that the design allows the stopcock to be operated without being affected by the vacuum; loosening the stopcock disengages the PTFE plug from the glass, and a half turn closes the desiccator. The design does not require grease.
