The PYREX 1397-1L 1L Round Wide Mouth Media Storage Bottle is a heavy-duty laboratory bottle designed for the storage mixing and sampling of laboratory media reagents powders pastes buffers and compatible solutions. A major advantage of this model is its GLS80 extra-wide neck. Corning specifies an approximately 65mm inner-diameter opening, making access substantially wider than conventional GL45 media bottles. This makes adding or removing powders, pastes and larger materials easier and also simplifies cleaning. The bottle comes with a linerless one-piece autoclavable orange polypropylene plug-seal GLS80 screw cap and a drip-free pouring ring. Permanent white enamel graduations and a marking spot provide convenient volume reference and sample identification.
