The PYREX® 1L Complete Soxhlet Extractor System with Allihn Condenser is a premium laboratory extraction apparatus designed for continuous solvent extraction of soluble substances from solid samples. Manufactured from durable PYREX® laboratory glass, the system comprises a Soxhlet extractor body, an Allihn condenser, and a 1000mL boiling flask, connected using precision standard taper joints. The apparatus operates through repeated solvent evaporation, condensation, extraction, and automatic siphoning cycles. Heated solvent vapour rises into the condenser, where it cools and returns to the extractor chamber. Once the liquid reaches the siphon level, it automatically returns to the boiling flask, carrying the extracted compounds. The system features a 71/60 standard taper joint between the condenser and extractor body and a 29/42 standard taper joint between the extractor body and boiling flask. Its condenser includes 10mm outside diameter water connections for connection to a suitable laboratory cooling-water supply.
