PYREX 13.25L Graduated Solution Carboy with Tooled Neck

The PYREX 1596-13L 13.25L Graduated Solution Carboy is a large-capacity laboratory glass container designed for solution storage and media preparation. Unlike the ungraduated 1595-series solution bottle, the 1596 series incorporates permanent black enamel double-scale graduations in litres and gallons, allowing convenient approximate volume measurement. The bottle is graduated in 500mL increments, with an approximate graduation range of 500mL to 12,000mL. Its tooled neck increases mechanical strength and promotes a uniform stopper fit. Corning specifies a No. 12 rubber stopper for the bottle. It can withstand both hot-air dry sterilization and steam wet sterilization, making it suitable for laboratories requiring reusable large-volume glassware.
