The PYREX 1760-125 125mL Tall Form Gas Washing Bottle is specialized laboratory glassware designed for washing drying humidifying and treating gases by passing a gas stream through a liquid medium. Gas enters through the top of the central vertical tube. The lower end of this tube extends below the surface of the washing medium so the incoming gas bubbles through the liquid before leaving through the sidearm. The plain-tip tube distinguishes this model from PYREX gas-washing bottles equipped with fritted discs or fritted cylinders. The bottle incorporates a 29/42 Standard Taper stopper and a large hexagonal base for improved stability.
