PYREX® 10.5L Large Top Vacuum Desiccator with 24-29 Standard Taper Stopcock

The PYREX® 10.5L Large Top Desiccator with 24/29 Standard Taper Stopcock, Product No. 3121-250, is a reusable laboratory vacuum desiccator designed for drying and storing moisture-sensitive samples under reduced pressure. It features a rugged 24/29 Standard Taper external sleeve with a tooled hose connection serving as the vacuum stopcock. The stopcock uses a PTFE plug and is designed so that operation is not affected by vacuum. Loosening the stopcock disengages the PTFE plug from the glass to introduce vacuum, while a half-turn closes the desiccator. This design eliminates the need for grease. Corning rates the unit for 1-atmosphere vacuum.
