PYREX® 100 × 10mm Petri Dish with Cover – Reusable Borosilicate Glass

The PYREX® 100 × 10mm Petri Dish with Cover, Product No. 3160-100, is a reusable clear borosilicate glass culture dish designed for microbiology, culture work, specimen handling, and general laboratory use. Its edges are beaded for greater mechanical strength and to help maintain spacing between the dish bottom and cover, reducing capillary action from condensed moisture. The dish can withstand repeated wet or dry sterilization and is not airtight. Corning marks the cover in blue enamel and the bottom in white enamel for easier sorting. The bottom also includes a triangular enamel reference point useful for serial dilutions.
