The Philips HeartStart FRx Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a portable, rugged and easy-to-use emergency medical device designed to help rescuers respond quickly to sudden cardiac arrest in adults and children.
Equipped with Philips SMART Analysis technology, the HeartStart FRx automatically assesses the patient's heart rhythm and advises a shock only when appropriate. Its clear, step-by-step voice instructions guide users through electrode pad placement, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation.
The device features SMART Pads II electrodes for both adult and pediatric applications, with an optional Infant/Child Key that adjusts therapy and CPR guidance for younger patients.
Designed for challenging environments, the HeartStart FRx offers IP55 protection against dust and water jets, making it suitable for hospitals, clinics, ambulances, schools, workplaces, hotels, airports, industrial facilities and emergency-response teams.
