The OMRON M2 Basic HEM-7121J-E is an automatic digital blood pressure monitor designed for convenient and reliable measurement of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate from the upper arm. It incorporates OMRON Intellisense™ technology, which automatically controls cuff inflation for a comfortable measurement without requiring the user to manually select an inflation level. The simple one-button design makes it suitable for routine blood-pressure monitoring at home or in appropriate healthcare environments. The M2 Basic also features Irregular Heartbeat Detection, a Cuff Wrap Guide to help indicate correct cuff placement, and memory for the last measurement. The supplied medium cuff accommodates upper-arm circumferences of 22–32 cm.
