Olympus CX43 Trinocular Biological Microscope

The Olympus CX43 Trinocular Biological Microscope is a professional upright clinical and laboratory microscope designed for routine microscopy, digital imaging and demanding laboratory workflows. It uses Olympus' UIS2 infinity-corrected optical system and supports a wide range of UIS2 objectives for clear, flat images across the field of view. The trinocular configuration combines binocular observation with a dedicated camera port, making the CX43 suitable for digital image capture, laboratory documentation, teaching and image sharing when equipped with a compatible microscope camera. The CX43 trinocular head uses a fixed 50% camera / 50% observation light-path split. Unlike the CX33, the CX43 offers greater configuration flexibility. Its five-position revolving nosepiece supports up to five objectives, while its universal condenser accommodates magnifications from 2X to 100X. Depending on configuration, the system supports brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast, simple polarization and fluorescence observation. Its ergonomic design includes low-positioned focusing and stage controls for comfortable operation during prolonged routine laboratory work. The LED illumination maintains a consistent colour temperature at different brightness levels and has a manufacturer-rated lifetime of approximately 60,000 hours.
