Mission HemoPro Hemoglobin Meter

The Mission® HemoPro Hemoglobin Meter is a portable point-of-care hemoglobin testing system designed for rapid quantitative measurement of hemoglobin (Hb) and calculation of hematocrit (Hct) from capillary or venous whole blood. The HemoPro uses spectrophotometric technology with disposable microcuvettes. Only 10 µL of whole blood is required, and hemoglobin results are generated in less than 2 seconds, making the system suitable for rapid anemia screening, near-patient testing and routine hemoglobin monitoring. Unlike conventional strip-based hemoglobin meters, the HemoPro microcuvette functions as both the sampling device and measuring cuvette. The microcuvettes contain no toxic reagent or active ingredient, can be stored at room temperature and have a stated shelf life of up to 24 months whether the canister is opened or unopened. The portable meter can operate from 4 AAA batteries, an AC adapter or USB power from a computer. It stores up to 1,000 test records and provides USB connectivity for data transfer, making it suitable for hospitals, clinics, laboratories, blood-donation services and other point-of-care environments.
