Mindray Total β Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (Total β-HCG) CLIA Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic chemiluminescence immunoassay designed for the quantitative determination of total β human chorionic gonadotropin in human serum using compatible Mindray CL-series analyzers. It is used as an aid in the early detection and assessment of pregnancy. Human chorionic gonadotropin is a glycoprotein hormone produced mainly by placental tissue during pregnancy. The Mindray assay measures total β-HCG using a two-site sandwich immunoassay, with the measured chemiluminescent signal being proportional to the concentration of β-HCG in the sample.
