Mindray Prolactin (PRL) CLIA Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic chemiluminescence immunoassay reagent designed for the quantitative determination of prolactin using compatible Mindray CL-series automated immunoassay analyzers. Prolactin is a pituitary hormone involved in mammary gland development and lactation and is an important laboratory marker in the investigation of hyperprolactinemia, infertility, menstrual disorders, galactorrhea and pituitary dysfunction. Mindray currently includes Prolactin in its fertility assay panel. Mindray has also introduced newer Prolactin assay technology designed to reduce interference from macroprolactin, which can otherwise contribute to falsely elevated prolactin measurements in some patients.
