Mindray Pepsinogen II (PG II) CLIA Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic chemiluminescence immunoassay designed for the quantitative determination of Pepsinogen II in human serum or plasma using compatible Mindray CL-series automated chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers. Pepsinogen II is a precursor of the digestive enzyme pepsin and is produced by several regions of the gastric mucosa. Measurement of PG II, particularly when assessed together with Pepsinogen I and the PG I/PG II ratio, can provide useful information about gastric mucosal condition and atrophic changes.
