Mindray Pepsinogen I (PG I) CLIA Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic chemiluminescence immunoassay for the quantitative determination of Pepsinogen I in human serum or plasma using compatible Mindray CL-series chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers. Mindray officially lists PG I in its tumor-marker CLIA menu. Pepsinogen I is produced mainly by the fundic glands of the stomach. Its concentration, particularly when assessed together with Pepsinogen II and the PG I/PG II ratio, can provide information about the functional condition and degree of atrophy of the gastric mucosa.
