Mindray Parathyroid Hormone (PTH) CLIA Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic chemiluminescence immunoassay designed for the quantitative determination of parathyroid hormone in human serum or plasma using compatible Mindray CL-series analyzers. The assay is intended to assist in diagnosing diseases associated with primary and secondary parathyroid dysfunction and in evaluating parathyroid function following thyroid or parathyroid surgery. Parathyroid hormone is a key regulator of calcium and phosphate metabolism and plays a major role in maintaining bone and mineral homeostasis. PTH measurement is commonly used in the assessment of hyperparathyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, chronic kidney disease–related mineral disorders and other abnormalities of calcium metabolism.
