Mindray N-terminal pro B-type Natriuretic Peptide (NT-proBNP) CLIA Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic chemiluminescence immunoassay designed for the quantitative determination of NT-proBNP in human serum and plasma using compatible Mindray CL-series automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers. It is intended to assist in the assessment of patients suspected of congestive heart failure and cardiac dysfunction. NT-proBNP is released in response to increased ventricular wall stress and is an important laboratory biomarker for the evaluation of heart failure. Its concentration can support diagnosis, risk assessment and clinical monitoring when interpreted together with symptoms, examination findings and other cardiac investigations.
