Mindray Myoglobin (MYO) CLIA Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic chemiluminescence immunoassay reagent designed for the quantitative determination of myoglobin in human serum or plasma using compatible Mindray CL-series automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers. Mindray officially includes Myoglobin within its cardiac biomarker CLIA assay menu and supplies its CLIA reagents as liquid, ready-to-use systems. Myoglobin is an oxygen-binding protein found primarily in cardiac and skeletal muscle. Its concentration can rise rapidly following muscle injury, including myocardial injury. Because myoglobin is not specific to cardiac muscle, results should be interpreted together with cardiac troponin, CK-MB, clinical findings and other investigations.
