Mindray Laminin (LN) CLIA Reagent Kit is a chemiluminescence immunoassay designed for the quantitative determination of Laminin in human serum using compatible Mindray CL-series automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers. Mindray includes Laminin in its dedicated liver-fibrosis CLIA panel alongside Hyaluronic Acid, N-terminal Peptide of Procollagen Type III and Collagen Type IV. Laminin is a major glycoprotein component of basement membranes. Increased serum laminin concentrations may occur with extracellular-matrix deposition associated with hepatic fibrosis and cirrhosis. The Mindray assay is intended as an aid in the diagnosis of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis, but is not intended by itself to classify the stage of liver fibrosis.
