Mindray Hyaluronic Acid (HA) CLIA Reagent Kit is a chemiluminescence immunoassay designed for the quantitative determination of Hyaluronic Acid in human serum using compatible Mindray CL-series automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers. Mindray includes Hyaluronic Acid in its liver-fibrosis CLIA panel alongside Laminin, N-terminal Peptide of Procollagen Type III and Collagen Type IV. Hyaluronic Acid is an extracellular-matrix polysaccharide that is largely metabolized by the liver. Serum HA concentration may increase when hepatic fibrosis causes increased matrix production and impaired hepatic clearance. The assay is therefore used as an aid in the assessment and monitoring of liver fibrosis and chronic liver disease.
