Mindray Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) CLIA Reagent Kit is a chemiluminescence immunoassay designed for the quantitative determination of Hepatitis B Surface Antigen in human serum or plasma using compatible Mindray CL-series analyzers. Mindray officially lists HBsAg within its infectious-disease CLIA test portfolio. The assay uses a two-site sandwich immunoassay principle. HBsAg in the specimen binds to anti-HBs antibodies associated with paramagnetic microparticles and an alkaline-phosphatase-labelled antibody conjugate. The resulting chemiluminescent signal is proportional to the amount of HBsAg present in the sample. HBsAg is an important serological marker used in the laboratory evaluation of Hepatitis B virus infection. Results should be interpreted alongside clinical findings and other HBV serological or molecular tests.
