Mindray Hepatitis B e Antigen (HBeAg) CLIA Reagent Kit is a chemiluminescence immunoassay intended for the qualitative determination of Hepatitis B e Antigen in human serum or plasma using compatible Mindray CL-series immunoassay analyzers. The assay is designed to support laboratory evaluation of hepatitis B virus infection. HBeAg is a hepatitis B viral antigen that is associated with active viral replication. Its presence can provide useful information when assessing the replication status and infectivity of hepatitis B virus, although results should be interpreted together with other HBV serological markers, HBV DNA testing and clinical information. Mindray includes HBeAg as part of its complete hepatitis B serology panel alongside HBsAg, Anti-HBs, Anti-HBe and Anti-HBc.
