Mindray Free Prostate Specific Antigen (Free PSA) CLIA Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic chemiluminescence immunoassay for the quantitative determination of free prostate specific antigen in human serum using compatible Mindray CL-series analyzers. Free PSA represents the unbound fraction of prostate specific antigen circulating in blood. Mindray states that its Free PSA assay can be used together with Total PSA to help distinguish prostate cancer from benign prostatic conditions. A prostate biopsy and other clinical investigations remain necessary for definitive cancer diagnosis.
