Mindray Cytomegalovirus IgM (CMV IgM) CLIA Reagent Kit is a chemiluminescence immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of Cytomegalovirus IgM antibodies in human serum or plasma using compatible Mindray CL-series analyzers. It is part of Mindray’s ToRCH serology portfolio for assessment of maternal, neonatal and other clinically significant infections. CMV IgM may become detectable during recent or primary Cytomegalovirus infection. In pregnancy, CMV IgM results are commonly interpreted together with CMV IgG and CMV IgG avidity because IgM positivity alone does not necessarily prove a new primary infection.
