Mindray CYFRA 21-1 CLIA Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic reagent designed for the quantitative determination of cytokeratin 19 fragment (CYFRA 21-1) using compatible Mindray CL-series automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers. Mindray includes CYFRA 21-1 within its tumor-marker and lung-cancer biomarker assay menu. CYFRA 21-1 is a circulating fragment of cytokeratin 19 and is widely used as a tumor marker in the clinical assessment and monitoring of non-small cell lung cancer, particularly squamous cell carcinoma. It should be interpreted together with clinical findings, imaging, histopathology and other laboratory investigations rather than used alone to diagnose cancer.
