CK-MB is the MB isoenzyme of creatine kinase and is found predominantly in cardiac muscle. Measurement of CK-MB is used as a cardiac biomarker to support assessment of myocardial injury and acute myocardial infarction, usually alongside cardiac troponin and other clinical findings.
