Mindray Cortisol (CLIA) Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic chemiluminescence immunoassay designed for the quantitative determination of cortisol using compatible Mindray CL-series automatic chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers. Mindray supplies its CLIA reagents as liquid, ready-to-use systems in 50-test and 100-test configurations. Cortisol is a glucocorticoid steroid hormone produced by the adrenal cortex and is an important marker of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis function. Laboratory cortisol measurement is commonly used in the assessment of conditions involving excessive or deficient cortisol production, including Cushing syndrome and adrenal insufficiency/Addison disease.
