Mindray Carbohydrate Antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) CLIA Reagent Kit is an in vitro diagnostic reagent intended for the quantitative determination of Carbohydrate Antigen 19-9 in human serum or plasma using compatible Mindray CL-series automated chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzers. Mindray includes CA19-9 within its tumor-marker CLIA test menu and supplies its CLIA reagents in liquid, ready-to-use formats. CA19-9 is a tumor-associated carbohydrate antigen commonly measured as part of the laboratory evaluation and monitoring of patients with certain gastrointestinal malignancies, particularly pancreatic and biliary tract cancers. CA19-9 results should be interpreted together with clinical findings, imaging and other diagnostic investigations rather than being used alone to diagnose cancer.
