Mindray BS-240 Fully Automated Clinical Chemistry Analyzer

The Mindray BS-240 Fully Automated Clinical Chemistry Analyzer is a compact benchtop random-access analyzer designed to automate routine clinical chemistry testing while maximizing laboratory space and workflow efficiency. It delivers up to 200 photometric tests per hour, with total throughput reaching up to 400 tests per hour when configured with the optional ISE module. The system supports absorbance photometry, turbidimetry and optional ion-selective electrode technology for K⁺, Na⁺ and Cl⁻ measurements. A distinguishing feature of the BS-240 is Mindray's Smart-Sampling Technology, which enables automatic hemolysate preparation for HbA1c testing. This reduces manual pretreatment requirements and allows the BS-240 to serve as a dedicated HbA1c testing solution where appropriately configured. The analyzer provides flexible sample and reagent capacity, automatic probe washing, automatic sample dilution, liquid-level detection, collision protection, reagent pre-warming, an independent mixing bar and bidirectional LIS communication. Its minimum reaction volume of 100µL helps reduce reagent consumption.
