Mindray BS-230 Fully Automated Clinical Chemistry Analyzer

The Mindray BS-230 Fully Automated Clinical Chemistry Analyzer is a compact benchtop system designed to automate routine clinical chemistry testing in hospitals, diagnostic centres and medical laboratories. The BS-230 delivers a throughput of up to 200 photometric tests per hour, increasing to as much as 400 tests per hour when configured with the optional ISE module. It supports absorbance photometry, turbidimetry and optional ion-selective electrode technology. Despite its compact footprint, the analyzer offers substantial loading capacity. Mindray's current product information specifies up to 80 sample positions and up to 80 reagent positions, using a flexible configuration of 40 fixed and 40 interchangeable positions. The system supports end-point, fixed-time and kinetic methodologies, single- and dual-reagent chemistries, monochromatic and bichromatic measurements, automatic sample dilution and STAT sample priority. It incorporates automatic probe washing, liquid-level detection, collision protection, reagent pre-warming, an independent mixing bar and disposable reaction cuvettes. Probe carryover is specified at less than 0.05%.
