Mindray BC-5130 5-Part Hematology Analyzer

The Mindray BC-5130 5-Part Hematology Analyzer is a compact fully automated blood cell analyzer designed to provide complete blood count testing and 5-part white blood cell differentiation for clinical laboratories. The BC-5130 processes up to 60 samples per hour and reports 25 clinical parameters, together with 23 research parameters, 3 histograms and 4 WBC differential scattergrams. Its compact 400 × 320 × 410mm footprint makes it particularly attractive for hospitals, diagnostic centres and private laboratories where bench space is limited. For WBC analysis, the analyzer combines flow cytometry, tri-angle laser scatter and chemical dye technology. RBC and platelet counting use an improved DC impedance method, while hemoglobin measurement uses a cyanide-free reagent system. A dedicated optical channel is provided for basophil measurement. The BC-5130 supports whole blood, capillary whole blood and prediluted sample modes. Only 15µL is required for whole blood and capillary whole blood testing, making it especially useful where sample volume is limited.
