The Mindray BC-3D Hematology Control 3mL × 3 is a tri-level quality-control material designed to monitor the performance of compatible 3-part differential hematology analyzers. The set contains one Low, one Normal and one High control, allowing laboratories to evaluate analyzer performance across different clinically relevant concentration levels.
Unlike a calibrator, which is used to establish or adjust analyzer calibration, BC-3D Control is used for routine quality control (QC). Running the control and comparing obtained results against the lot-specific assigned ranges helps laboratories verify that the hematology analyzer and associated analytical system are performing as expected.
