Mindray BA-88A Semi-Automated Chemistry Analyzer

The Mindray BA-88A Semi-Automated Chemistry Analyzer is a compact benchtop clinical chemistry system designed for routine biochemical testing in hospitals, diagnostic centres, clinics and medical laboratories. The BA-88A combines a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with an intuitive software interface and supports two testing modes: flowcell and cuvette. Laboratories can switch between the two modes depending on their testing workflow and assay requirements. It supports Endpoint, Fixed-Time, Kinetic and Absorbance analytical methods, along with turbidimetry and both linear and non-linear calibration. Bi-chromatic testing is also supported. The optical system uses a tungsten-halogen lamp and eight standard wavelengths from 340 nm to 670 nm, enabling the analyzer to support a broad range of routine chemistry assays. Up to 200 test parameters can be programmed. The BA-88A also incorporates a built-in thermal printer, USB connectivity, RS-232 data transmission, substantial onboard result storage and four selectable temperature settings.
