Mindray Antibody to Hepatitis B Core Antigen (Anti-HBc) CLIA Reagent Kit is a chemiluminescence immunoassay intended for the qualitative determination of antibodies to Hepatitis B Core Antigen in human serum or plasma using compatible Mindray CL-series analyzers. Anti-HBc antibodies generally develop following exposure to hepatitis B virus and may persist for many years. Detection of Anti-HBc is therefore useful as part of a complete hepatitis B serology panel when assessing current or previous HBV infection. Results should be interpreted together with HBsAg, Anti-HBs, HBeAg, Anti-HBe and other relevant laboratory or clinical information.
