Mindray 25-OH-Vitamin D Total (VD-T II) CLIA Reagent Kit is an automated chemiluminescence immunoassay reagent for the quantitative determination of total 25-hydroxyvitamin D, the principal laboratory marker used to assess vitamin D status. Mindray’s second-generation VD-T II assay uses a double-antibody sandwich method designed to improve sensitivity and precision. The assay is traceable to an ID-LC/MS/MS reference method calibrated with SRM 2972, and Mindray states that the reagent has passed the CDC Vitamin D Standardization-Certification Program and participated in DEQAS.
