MAST DNase Agar 500g is a dehydrated microbiological culture medium used for the presumptive identification and differentiation of pathogenic Staphylococci through the demonstration of deoxyribonuclease (DNase) activity. Following incubation, the characteristic reaction can be demonstrated using an appropriate developing reagent such as 1M hydrochloric acid. It is intended for in vitro laboratory use.
