Leica HistoCore Water Bath M and Slide Dryer

The Leica HistoCore Water Bath M and Slide Dryer provide an integrated workstation for handling paraffin tissue sections after microtome sectioning. The HistoCore Water Bath M provides a heated water surface where paraffin sections can float and flatten before being collected onto microscope slides. Its black detachable water tray and integrated LED backlighting improve contrast and visibility, helping histotechnologists identify tissue ribbons and assess sectioning quality. The HistoCore Slide Dryer complements the water bath by providing a heated 45° angled rack capable of holding up to 30 slides. It heats slides from room temperature to a maximum of 75°C, helping accelerate removal of water from mounted sections. The modular design gives laboratories considerable flexibility. A Slide Dryer can be positioned alongside the Water Bath M according to available bench space, and one Water Bath M can supply power to up to two Slide Dryers. The Slide Dryer therefore does not require a separate power supply when connected to the Water Bath M.
