The MiSeq integrates cluster generation, sequencing and data analysis in a single instrument, providing a streamlined workflow for targeted sequencing, small-genome sequencing, amplicon sequencing, 16S metagenomics and other molecular research applications. Depending on the reagent kit and configuration, MiSeq supports sequencing runs up to 2 × 300 bp, making it particularly useful for applications that benefit from longer paired-end reads.
