HemoCue® Hb 201+ Hemoglobin Analyzer

The HemoCue® Hb 201+ Analyzer is a compact point-of-care system for quantitative hemoglobin measurement from capillary, venous or arterial whole blood. It delivers results in approximately 15–60 seconds using only about 10 µL of blood, making it suitable for hospitals, clinics, blood banks, antenatal clinics, mobile health programs and other settings requiring rapid hemoglobin testing. The system uses a modified azidemethemoglobin reaction with dual-wavelength photometric measurement to compensate for turbidity. It is factory calibrated against the international ICSH reference method and requires no routine user calibration.
